EPURON – MANAGEMENT GERMANY

The EPURON management is made up of experienced experts from a variety of
specialised fields. With their years of experience in corporate consulting, finance and
project planning, the EPURON directors perfectly complement each another.

Joachim Müller

Joachim Mueller was born in Oberhausen, Germany in 1963. After many years as an
executive in a traditional Hamburg bank, Mr Mueller moved on to become a managing
director at a financial services enterprise.

In July 2001, Joachim Mueller became a managing director at EPURON. Furthermore,
Mr. Müller is responsible for the area of Concentrating Solar Power (CSP).

Markus Lesser

Markus Lesser has over 20 years’ experience in the international energy sector. After studying
at Aachen University, he worked as Quality Engineer and later as Business Unit Manager for safety
valves and fittings for Sempell, a company of the Tyco group. After nine years, he started at Nordex AG,
a manufacturer of wind energy systems. In his role as Managing Director and Head of Sales, he was
responsible for project assurance, turnkey construction and product sales. He then moved to
Renergys Group AG in Zurich, Switzerland, where he held the position of Managing Director (COO).

On 1st September 2009, he was appointed Managing Director of EPURON.
